The Six Year Getaway is a 4 song pop-rock album inspired by years spent away from home. Written from love, lament, self-reflection, and a life in transit, The Six Year Getaway is an album for those who listen to any genre of music. Frankie Cleary’s engaging guitar and infectious vocals find resonance in all ears.

A singer/songwriter out of the Seattle area, Frankie has turned his previously acoustic rock singles into a full band production with the help of DBar productions in Seattle. This project was undertaken just before his 8-month journey aboard the USS John C Stennis, destined for the Arabian Gulf. In these early stages of his musical career, he has developed a list of contacts interested in doing reviews for his type of work in order to further his press kit and material for his website.

The Six Year Getaway covers music that has been compared to John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Cold Play, and Nickelback. “Different Side” is a favorite for those who want solid song production and a strong hook. The acoustic sounds of “The Being of Me” might remind you of an early James Taylor. You’ll sing along to “Outta My Mind” by the 2nd chorus and “On My Own” is for those who crave soaring vocals.
